01Provider
libreAdam is a set of small software I make on my own. The provider is an individual, not a company.
Browsing the site, creating an account or using any app on it means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you can simply not use it; there is no other consequence.
02Provided as is
The site is provided as is, with no uptime commitment. It is one person maintaining one server: it can go down, it can be briefly unavailable during a code update, and an individual app may be taken offline.
Keep your own backup of anything important. Drafts, checklists and photos should not exist only on this site, particularly on the free tier.
03Accounts
- One account per person, valid site-wide. The main site and the subdomains share one login.
- Do not sign up with someone else's email. Usernames that look official are on a reserved list and are rejected at signup.
- Your password is yours to keep safe. Actions taken with your account are treated as taken by you. If you find someone else is using it, write promptly.
- Abuse, hammering the API and destructive use lead to the account being locked. Locking does not delete data; if data does have to be deleted, you are told beforehand.
04Free quota and membership
- Free: a fixed number of AI calls, counted as an account total, not reset once used up.
- Member: reset each calendar month. When it lapses the account returns to the free tier; writing, publishing and exporting are unaffected.
- Quota is charged after the model returns successfully. Timeouts, empty results and rate limits are not charged.
- Membership is billed by the day and a redemption code works once. Time already granted is non-refundable; for a shutdown or a problem caused on the operator's side, write to arrange a refund.
05Ownership of content
Copyright in what you write and upload stays with you. It is not used to train models, not displayed publicly and not sold (see the privacy page for detail).
You grant the operator the right to store, process and display that content in order to run the product: write it to the database, show it back to you once logged in, and send it to a model when you ask. The grant ends when you delete the content or the account.
Do not upload content you have no right to upload, or illegal content. Such content is removed, and the account may be locked.
06AI output is not guaranteed to be correct
The AI employees on this site are characters with preset personalities. Any model output may be wrong, out of date or invented.
The immigration assistant is not an immigration consultant and not a lawyer. It organizes documents, computes scores and generates checklists; its output is not legal or immigration advice. Consult a licensed consultant or lawyer before filing, and treat the official government site as authoritative.
Likewise: the reader's explanations are not a curriculum, the growth tree's prompts are not medical or parenting advice, and the local station's picks are not investment or purchasing advice.
Decisions made on the basis of model output are at your own risk.
07Limits on the mock toy pages
The site has a set of mock pages: fake meetings, fake antivirus, fake blue screens, fake downloads, fake hacker screens. They are for your own amusement or as props on camera.
They must not be used to deceive: not to impersonate real software, not as a prop in fraud or extortion, and not to frighten someone who does not know they are fake.
Such use leads to the account being locked.
08Prohibited use
- Scraping, load testing, circumventing quota, scripting the API.
- Obtaining data that is not yours, or bypassing login and permissions.
- Using the site for illegal activity, or to harass others.
- Repackaging the services here as your own product and selling them.
09Toys that run inside the browser
Most toys under /t/ run entirely in the browser, with their data on your machine. Clearing browser data loses it; the server holds no copy and cannot recover it. Do not keep anything important only there.
10Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this site (lost data, time spent, incorrect model output).
Where a cap is required, it is the amount you actually paid for the feature concerned.
Some jurisdictions do not allow liability to be limited this way. There, local law applies, the parts of this section that cannot stand fall away, and the remaining terms continue to apply.
11Changes and termination
This page is updated, and the date at the top changes with it. Continued use after an update counts as accepting the new version.
You can stop using the site at any time, and request account deletion at any time (see the privacy page).
The operator may take an app, or the whole site, offline. If that happens it is announced on the site in advance, with time left to export your data.
12Contact and disputes
Disputes are first addressed by email.
If that does not resolve them, Canadian law applies.
